Prebiotics and probiotics work together to positively affect the body by producing compounds called postbiotics that are necessary for regulating bodily function.
What are the benefits of adding prebiotic fibre to my diet?
Prebiotic fibre helps promote the growth of many healthy gut bacteria. Healthy gut bacteria have shown to support nutrient absorption, digestion, weight management and immunity, as well as lower cholesterol levels and inflammation.

Is it safe to consume prebiotic fibre daily?

How much fibre is in Crazy D's?
Crazy D’s contains a crazy amount of fibre – at least 9g per can!
Prebiotic fibre can be difficult to scavenge in these hectic modern times. Only small amounts can be found in select fruits and vegetables, such as: green bananas, onions, garlic, chicory root, and jicama.
This makes it difficult for the average person to consume the recommended daily serving of 25g.
Is Crazy D's naturally carbonated?
Crazy D’s is not naturally carbonated. Instead, we avoid the use of sugar and yeast by carbonating our beverages with CO2.
How can Crazy D's be free of added sugar yet taste sweet?
Crazy D’s is free of refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, stevia and sugar alcohols. Our soda is naturally sweetened with a unique combination of prebiotic root vegetables.
As a diabetic, can I drink Crazy D's?
Yes! Crazy D’s is diabetic-friendly and a safe, tasty alternative for those with a sweet tooth who are looking to cut down on sugar. Our sodas only contain 5g of naturally occurring sugar per can, which is counteracted by prebiotic fibre.
Is Crazy D's keto-friendly?
Yes! Crazy D’s is a great source of fibre for consumers who are restricted by a low-carb or keto diet. Although prebiotics are a form of carbohydrate, such fibres cannot be digested by human cells, and subsequently do not increase blood glucose levels.
What's the shelf life of Crazy D's?
When it comes to all natural ingredients, fresh is best! So, while each soda carries a best before date, we always recommend drinking it sooner than later.
Once opened, the drink should be consumed within the same day for maximum sparkle. Still, Crazy D’s prebiotic health benefits will survive even in a flat drink.
Does Crazy D's need to be refrigerated?
No. While we highly recommend Crazy D’s is chilled before serving, it does not need to be kept refrigerated unless open.
Is it possible to drink too much prebiotic soda?
The key here is to trust your gut.
While most people could drink a lot of prebiotic soda without any side effects at all, the overconsumption of any single nutrient has the potential to cause some gastrointestinal discomfort, like gas and bloating; especially if your body isn’t used to the substance.
For children and those who are just starting to incorporate prebiotics into their diet, we suggest not exceeding one can a day of Crazy D’s.
